Happy 10 months smiley bug!

Yay!! Little love bug is trying to start walking! There is no pressure he has really been the one doing all the work. He stands from one side of the couch and walks to the other. He does try to let go and walk towards the coffee table but it hasnt happened just yet. He has such a personality!

Loves to play peek a boo!! It seriously has to the funniest game of all time!! Who would of thought we could really disappear lol babies believe it!! So much fun! 

This little guy is still teething like no other! Still no signs of other teeth just yet. Poor little booty has been through a lot. So my once food lover is now starting to be the biggest pickiest eater of all. More than his dad and thats saying a lot! A least he loves fruits, but so far there is no hope with greens not even peas! What the heck!!! 

My mom is the sweetest! She set us up on a date to go to the mall and get LJ his first Build-a-bear!! I am so glad LJ has great grandparents on both sides who love him so much!! And they love to spend time with him. I never had that bond with all of my grandparents so it is so special to see him get so much love just all around! 

Honey its cold outside..

My favorite time of year approaches and I love that I can celebrate it with my little family this year. Its crazy how complete I feel now that I have my son. I never even knew I was missing something so special in my life. I'm so thankful everyday for being given this beautiful miracle that I have been watching grow, reach new milestones and learn so many thing. I cant believe he is close to being 1 year old soon.

I guess it is true that they grow so fast and I have been lucky enough to stay home and even I know the difference in his features, his personality and all these good things. 

Anyways.. Its been cold and snowing. Its actually sticking too. LJ has been quite amazed with watching the snow flakes. Makes me want to go out there and stick my tongue out and sing that Barney song. Random, I know. 

I managed to get him all bundled up and take him outside. Now that he is starting to walk I thought it would be fun! But he wanted to crawl of course so it was a little colder for him than it should have been. 

"Look Mama I'm walking in the snow!" K he really didnt say that, but imagined thats what was going on through his head. He was so excited to be walking on the snow. I'm such a proud mom!! And I'm also glad he didnt get sick after being outside for a while. I was thinking we should take our holiday pictures out on the mountains but I dont think that will happen it is way too cold for little man.

One of my favorite holidays is Christmas!! So you know I go all out! I wanted to do Elf on a Shelf, but I thinking waiting till next year was the best idea so LJ actually can get a bit of an understanding to it. We have been setting up the tree and decorating around the house. Of course, we had to make changes to the tree. LJ liked grabbing the ornaments and pulling them down. Thank goodness he never brought the tree down with him lol that would have been terrible!

Had to put him in his snow outfit before it doesn't fit him lol he hated it! The snow was cold of course and him laying in it because obviously he couldn't walk in the huge thing because he was a marshmallow. But it was funny, we have to have fun with our son. We are all enjoying these precious moments!!

Happy 9 months love bug!

"All i want for christmas are my two front teeth!" And hopefully he gets just that! He uses his walker to get around the house. He learned how to push it and when he falls he gets right back up and keeps going. No fear with this little rascal!  He cant turn yet but slowly but surely he will get there. He had his first cold and an extra runny nose. Look out mom and dad you are next!!!

I have the biggest helpet already! I think he sees me clean pretty much every chance I get so he is getting the idea that keeping things pretty tiddy is nice for mommy! 

Already having trouble with him and his meals! These are the faces i get when he does not like what mommy has made! Who needs a better judge for my food!! I was never a cook before. I always ate out or had my moms homemade food, but i mostly ate out! Before having a baby my metabolism was awesome!! Now, not so much lol but i learned so he could eat and he doesnt even like it!

Lets play with socks at the dinner table mom and dad!! 

Happy Octoboo!!

Putting on his costume was the hard part and them him accidently getting all the "fur" in his mouth was gross enough that he didnt want to wear it.

Wizard of Oz family!! I am so glad daddy did not mind dressing up with us! He was in character the entire evening lol

We decided to play it safe his first Halloween so we ended up trick or treating at the mall. We actually got lots of candy! And LJ enjoyed people watching too!

We also ran into another Wizard of Oz family! Of course we needed a picture with them!

Happy 8 months my love!

He's crawling! EVERYWHERE!! Not only that he has already tried pulling himself up and using the furniture or anything that is nearby for support.

He has now diacovered his way around the house. And by the looks of it, his favorite is the kitchen! Could we blame him? Never!! 

Baths at the end of the day oh gosh they are his absolute favorite! 

Pumpkin Patch

So excited to bring LJ to his first pumpkin patch!

Happy 7 months little man!

Attention!! We have a crawler! It was so cute. On his dads birthday this little guy put on an awesome show and just started crawling. I'm sure he did it to just get more attention than the 49er game was getting lol 

So guess what!? He stayed at his abuelitos and abuelitas house again and when we picked him up he had a tooth!! Yes cut through and everything!! You can see the other one now trying to make its way through. Soon we will have two front teeth haha 

Football Season is here!

Mommy and Daddy are in a bit of a battle here. I love the Oakland Raiders and ny husband well he loves his San Francisco 49ers. So our son will have the best of both worlds. One day he shall pick a team even if its not one we have shown him. I will have to bear with the pain!

He is photogenic for the moment being. I'm in love with these and can't wait to mail them out to his grandparents.

Why Kapernick you say! My little Kapernick-er!! Despite the fact that I am not a fan, I have to say he certainly makes them look good.  

Daddy's first birthday being a daddy!! We threw him a football party on game day! 

Happy 6 months baby love!

6 months shots this time were a gazillion times better! He cried for a bit of course but then he was good for the rest of the day. I did give him some Tylenol before his appointment this time though, maybe thats what helped out!?

He loves his walker!! I cant believe how quick he learned how to use this thing. So i totally had dad stay there so i could take a picture. But this really happened!! This is how you know you are getting old.  Son was taking over the kitchen speeding and all and he took his daddy out right on his knees! It was hilarious!! 

For the moment he isnt crawling yet. He is just doing an army crawl lol but he does roll to get places faster haha 

First Babycation

Off so LJ can meet the rest of his Family in California. Can you tell how excited he is? He did great on the plane. I was soo worried we would get kicked off before landing lol Maybe I cheated, I did give him some Tylenol before. 

Yay! At his grandparents house and he's already getting spoiled with a new musical jumping swing! Matching his daddy for game day! I think we can all guess who was playing.

Off to Santa Cruz, CA Little matchy bug. I'm so glad I brought jackets it's pretty chilly here.

My favorite!! The Jelly Belly Factory! I could seriously live here!!! 

Had a beautiful time with family and friends, now it's time to head home and hopefully have another good flight!!!

Happy 5 months love bug!

Whoa!! Almost half a year old! So daddy had this great idea to go through the toy aisle at Costco since it has all the Christmas gifts and everything going on right now. He saw a walker and though "hey he would probably enjoy this now!" I didn't agree, I honestly didn't want him to grow even faster lol but I was wrong!! He loves it! It has become his favorite toy! And he already tries holding and moving forward! Nooooo!!

Funniest picture ever! Of course I have to play with him. He reminded me of Al Bundy so I helped him adjust his hand and he was the cute twin that he never had lol 

On the bright side for this mama!! No more rollie pollie. He rolls from his belly to his back and back up to his belly again. Such a smarty pants!!

Guess who is rolling!? Cutest little workout struggle I've seen!

He is still teething, no signs of teeth yet. I feel so bad for him. How long does teething usually last? So sad you struggle so much to cut little teeth through and one day we end up toothless with dentures lol k I'm being way too drastic but you have to admit it is true! 

4th month shots! Yikes!! I cried with him. The nurse had me holding his arms down ugh it broke my heart! Why couldnt daddy just take the day off on a time like this? Luckily he didn't cry very much he fell asleep soon after, but we did have a long cranky day. 

Happy 3rd Month sweetie pie!

Have you ever just enjoyed hanging out with a baby all day? Or though of it anyway? Well I sure never did! But its been so much fun!!

He loves to cuddle and to be kissed. I swear I am a kissy monster!! I love his giggles! 

My little man is starting to bald lol its hilarious its only around the sides of his head so its like a natural "bowl cut" for him with just a slight trim. 

The teething has begun.. And i already feel helpless. I been putting a lot of oragel  and using the teething tablets but they dont seem to work very well. 

We have had lots of fevers and diarrhea that cause booty rashes!! Poor little guy!! He still manages to stay happy when he isn't hungry. Such a little champ!

Time to lose the baby weight..

I decided to become an entrepreneur and jump on the bandwagon for Body by Vi. It took a lot to convince me, but I am in. I personally don't feel happy with the way body looks or the extra weight I have going on so this will hopefully motivate me.

I got my own 90 day challenge and I am actually excited to do is. I seriously hope I can get close to my pre baby weight! 

Okay so here's my update!! Almost 2 months in yay!!

I've been doing pretty good both with my diet and exercise.

One of my favorite blends to use the product. I've also made iced coffee with it. It's actually really good!!

My son is my sleepy cheerleader!! We have a jogger stroller. This was the only reason why I wanted one before he arrived so I could remain active. I have always taken him out for walks or shopping of course, but this is the forst time its being used as a jogger stroller..Embarrassing,  but hey its working!! 

2 month and a half later check that out! My pre-pregnancy weight was 115. The day I went into labor I weighed 136. And I only have 3 pounds to go!! 

Happy 2nd month baby boy!

2 months already! Omg where has the time gone?! He is still too little to like toys or stuffed animals. He really enjoys looking at lights. We started a new sleeping pattern. He stayed at my moms for the first time ever (I missed him like crazy, my mom told me to stop bugging and let her enjoy him so I did just that) and guess what we have a belly sleeper! I know they say they shouldn't sleep on their belly because of SIDS, but he slept through the entire night! Thats a first!! So I watch him constantly at night to make sure he is okay and he moves his head from sode to side perfectly fine so I think we will all be getting good rest from now on.

He is already trying to find his voice, its adorable! 

This month we up'ed his formula to 5 ounces. Yikes!! 

And oh what a happy baby he is!!

3 week Photoshoot

Okay I had so many ideas from Pinterest for his first shoot, but baby had other plans lol He was sleeping as soon as my lovely friend arrived to take his pictures and then he was just wide awake. He didnt like the way he was positioned so in many he was just crying!! Luckily, she got a few smirks in between. Oh and then daddy layed on his tummy so LJ could lay on top of him and without a diaper we had a whole lot of messes!! Such a fun day cleaning up after my little prince.

He looks calm here but boy was he giving an earful of beautiful cries.

He didn't mind this one at all. I hadnt expected to be part of his shoot. Being a new mom I hadn't even had time to do my nails. 

I love how deep in thought he is.. Like he's thinking "maybe if i stay still they will go away!" Sorry honey, we love you!! 

Who is the cutest?

Yes my love you most definitely are!!

These days have been the longest, but who needs sleep anyway when you can just stare at this sweet little face. He makes the funniest little expressions and I just love it! I love being his mom and I love getting up super early just to hold him while he pretends to sleep with one eye open and one eye closed. 

He just makes me want to cry tears of happiness!! GOD is so big and I couldnt be more thankful for sending me such a sweet happy and healthy baby.
